Start with something you can support
Use the research library to find a subject, then read the original source. Explain what was studied, what the authors found, and what remains uncertain. Link to that source, not just a headline. Read our evidence guide for context.
Choose an honest evidence label
Peer-reviewed research describes a published study. Clinical trial describes a registered or reported trial. Regulatory update describes an official agency communication. News / commentary describes reporting or interpretation. Community education identifies educational discussion rather than a research finding. These are your declarations; publishing through the studio does not mean Type1Cure has reviewed or endorsed your video.
Make and preview your original video
Select an MP4, MOV, or WebM from your device, up to 32 MB and ten minutes. Your connected TikTok account may have a shorter limit, which the studio displays. Your local preview does not upload the video. Write an editable caption, choose an evidence label, and use Add evidence and source to include them in the caption. You can download the caption without signing in.
Connect your own TikTok account
Create a free Type1Cure account, select Connect TikTok, and authorize profile access and video publishing on TikTok. Back in the studio, check the displayed nickname and username. Select an audience yourself; there is no default audience. Comments, Duet, and Stitch start off and respect the permissions on your TikTok account.
Disclose, consent, then publish
Turn on commercial disclosure for promotional videos and identify your own brand or a paid partnership. Branded content cannot use Only me visibility. Disclose AI-generated content where applicable. Review the exact preview, caption, audience, rights, and music confirmation before pressing Publish. The studio shows processing status; processing may take a few minutes.
During TikTok review
The workspace is available while TikTok reviews the integration. API publishing is limited to authorized sandbox testers and private test posts until approval and the Direct Post audit are complete. Creating a Type1Cure account does not bypass those limits. We do not change your TikTok account privacy automatically.
Your choices and your data
Disconnect & delete connection data removes stored credentials and studio posting history and revokes the current app grant. This does not delete posts already published to TikTok.
